Tajiks with disabilities win Asian Drafts Tournament
It was held in the Uzbek city of Yangi-Yul, Tashkent region. Tajik athletes won 1st and 3rd places in this tournament.
The winners were the pupils of the Federation of Drafts and Chess of Persons with Disabilities of Tajikistan, Gafor Aliyev, who won first place and Suhrob Hamdamov, who won third place.
According to Suhrob Hamdamov, the delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the head of the National Drafts and Chess Federation for Persons with Disabilities Muhiddin Boboev.
“We previously participated in international tournaments, for example, in 2017, a chess tournament was held in Bishkek and there we took first place in the team event,” said Suhrob Hamdamov. - But they took part in international drafts for the first time. Our trip took place thanks to the financial support of the International Bank of Tajikistan, for which we express our heartfelt gratitude to the management of the bank.”
As noted in the Federation,   the International Bank of Tajikistan often provides financial support to pupils of the Federation.
